LIBRATI

A global library network

Imagine if the world was one big library

Our dream is to build the first global library network. The idea is that any place can become a mini library, we call them “Nooks”. The Librati app will connect readers to our vast network of Nooks, allowing them to borrow and return good, old-fashioned, paper books anywhere in the world.

Join our community and share our love for pre-loved books. Sign up for the app waitlist or register to become a Nook.

The Librati App Experience

1. Your new library card

Find and discover pre-loved books within our shared digital library and locate the physical Nooks where they currently live.

The warmly lit storefront of a Nook bookshop at night, its arched windows full of books and a sign reading NOOK above the door.

2. Your new tour guide

Search for nearby or interesting Nooks - a quaint café, a cozy bookshop, an obscure corner in a new city.

A row of books on a library shelf, the middle volumes glowing brightly and casting light across the surrounding spines.

3. Your new borderless network

Donate, borrow, and return books from any Nook. You don’t have to return a book to the same Nook!

Why does the world need Librati?

  • Book-cycling

Join the circular economy and participate in minimizing everyone’s footprint.

  • Digital Detox

Disrupt the doomscroll. Go outside and read a book.

  • Connection

Book clubs and Nooks become new places for you to find your people.

IV.

Connecting people through stories

Librati exists to bring readers into a global book swap community. Built by people who understand the giddy feeling of “just one more chapter,” Librati is bringing back the idea of a library but with a global scope.

A technology company that uses new ideas to bring back old-fashioned books.
